Questions, answered plainly
What people ask before opening an account, and the answers we'd give on the phone.
Is Pledgement legitimate? What you can check yourself
Is Pledgement a scam?
No, but don't take our word for it. Before depositing anything, check three things: where client money is held, whether a withdrawal returns to the method you paid with, and whether every commission is named before you confirm. All three are answered on this page, and you can hold us to them.
Is my money kept separate from the company?
Yes. Client deposits sit in a segregated account apart from company funds with regulated payment partners, so they're never used to run the business. That doesn't remove market volatility: a position's value can fall, and no honest broker will tell you otherwise.
Can I withdraw all my money anytime?
Yes. A withdrawal returns to the same method you deposited with, normally within one business day once KYC verification is complete. You don't need to explain why you're withdrawing.
How do I know if Pledgement is regulated?
Orders are routed through IIROC regulated broker partners that operate under CIRO and OSC oversight. Ask your analyst for the specific licence details before you deposit, and look up the registration yourself in the public CIRO register.
What's the catch, how does Pledgement earn money?
From a commission on completed trades and from paid training, and from nothing else. We take no share of your deposit and don't earn when a position loses value. Every commission is shown before you confirm.

How quickly can I start investing?
Most members complete registration and KYC verification in a few minutes. Once your first deposit clears, your analyst can activate your strategy straight away.

No. All costs including spreads and commission are shown transparently before you commit. You will always see what applies to your plan - no surprise charges.

How do AI trading signals work exactly?
AI scans real-time market data to generate buy and sell signals based on technical analysis patterns and volatility. Your analyst reviews each signal and explains the reasoning before any trade occurs - you approve or adjust before execution.
What happens to my money if markets crash?
Your portfolio will move with market conditions. A personal analyst helps you understand your risk profile and asset allocation beforehand. Past market volatility has recovered historically, though gains are never guaranteed.
How does a personal investment analyst help?
Your analyst sets your strategy around your goals and risk tolerance, reviews AI signals daily, explains each decision, and adjusts your portfolio as circumstances change. This human oversight keeps you informed and confident throughout.
Is Pledgement a scam or regulated?
Pledgement is fully regulated under CIRO and OSC oversight. Your account undergoes full KYC verification, funds sit in segregated accounts, and all activity is monitored for compliance. As with all investing platforms, past performance does not guarantee future results and volatility carries risk.
What investment options are available in Canada?
You can invest in stocks, ETFs, GICs and other securities available to Canadian investors. Your analyst helps you build a diversified portfolio suited to your goals.
